Interior designer Nitzan Horowitz<\/strong><\/p>\n

He has been working in the field for about 24 years and leads a studio that deals with planning and design in the private and commercial sectors, with an emphasis on luxury homes and apartments, offices and showrooms, alongside product planning and development. His work is based on the concept of Total Design and the connection between creativity, functionality and material, with the aim of creating spaces that not only look accurate, but also evoke a feeling and create a personal connection for those who live in them.<\/p>\n

“In my opinion, the bedroom is the most intimate room in the house,” says Horowitz. For him, this intimacy is not created from a single element, but from a complete system of planning decisions that come together, from the proportions of the space and the position of the bed to the materiality, lighting and the way the body encounters the room. “In the end, the couple should feel comfortable, that’s what’s important,” he emphasizes. Therefore, even before questions of style or trends, Horowitz addresses the way the bedroom functions on a very personal level. The space left around the bed, the passages, the location of the lighting, and the materials that are in daily contact with the body are no less important to him than the overall visibility.<\/p>\n

Materiality plays a central role here. Wood, textiles, surfaces that are pleasant to the touch, and different layers of light allow for the creation of depth and warmth, but Horowitz is wary of a space that feels too planned. For him, a bedroom should envelop those who enter it, but also leave room for life itself. Even in the room he designed for the production, he chose not to stick to one distinct stylistic language. Instead, he created a meeting between materials, textures, and elements from different worlds, which come together to form a personal and balanced composition. It is precisely the connection between the languages that gives the space the sense of security he is looking for.<\/p>\n

“I love combinations,” he says. “I don’t think a room should be defined only as modern, classic, or minimalist. When there is the right balance between things, a much more natural feeling is created.” For Horowitz, it may be the difference between a bedroom that looks good and one that is actually pleasant to live in. Intimacy is not the result of a grand design gesture, but of the small details, the right proportions and the ability to create a space that feels protected, personal and relaxed.<\/p>\n

Ultimately, the bedroom is not meant to impress those who enter it. It is meant for people who return to it every night.<\/p>\n

For the production, Horowitz chose the AUPING Essential Wood bed, whose minimalist look was the initial connection point, he says. \u201cI think it has a lot of potential,\u201d he says, emphasizing its ability to blend into different styles through varying combinations and finishes. The model combines aluminum and wood, with a headboard with rounded corners in a natural, light wood or dark walnut shade, while maintaining clean, understated lines. \u201cThat\u2019s ultimately what I\u2019m looking for,\u201d Horowitz concludes \u2013 a minimalist base that allows the materials and combinations around it to create the character of the space.<\/p>\n
