The basics: The studio, founded by Albert Levin about a decade ago, has specialized in work environments, offices, and collaborative workspaces in Israel and abroad since day one. Today, the studio has six interior designers and architects, and their working method is based on in-depth research and multidisciplinary observation with the goal of designing spaces with personal tailoring and maximum efficiency. “The methodical process is everything for us,” says Albert, adding:

“In each project, we create a kind of superposition of the various components – the location of the property, its physical data, the nature of the company, the organizational culture and our agenda as designers. We process all the data optimally in order to support the company’s way of working.”

Welcome to: The offices of a high-tech company that specializes in complex language models. The offices are located in Tel Aviv and span 6,500 square meters on two floors. The studio team accompanied the company through a strategic process for planning the new work environment – “It was an in-depth process of several months during which we studied the company and its organizational needs. The scale of the space was also significant here, because each floor is very large and each area has different needs.

We created a flexible model that will also adapt to future changes, and provides a response both at the individual level and at the levels of the team, department, division and the entire organization.” In terms of the design language, the studio team drew inspiration from the language model of artificial intelligence and gave it a material and spatial interpretation – “In the language model, there is a dialogue between the human and the machine. Compared to passive models, here the model takes the text we gave it and creates something else from it. Our interpretation was to create manipulations of the raw materials – wood, concrete and glass. We also chose gradual coloration, to emphasize the change, development and learning of the model.”

On the drawing board: “We are working on the offices of the Sarel company, which specializes in logistics services for hospitals. It is a very complex and interesting project. The company is very technological and advanced in its field, but the nature of the offices is more restrained and the palette is minimalist and high-quality.”
