The basics: The firm was founded in 2020 by architect Albert Escola, who studied in Spain and immigrated to Israel about a decade ago. Abroad, he worked on diverse projects, such as the design of the Barça football museum in Barcelona, and in Israel he brought a unique perspective that combines his European origins with Israeli culture. He expresses his fusion style, which is characterized by modern and contemporary lines, in a variety of commercial projects such as restaurants, showrooms and hotels, alongside residential planning and design, luxury apartments and lobbying for leading construction companies. His firm is located in Tel Aviv and employs four additional professionals. As part of the work processes, the team implements advanced AI software in all stages of planning and execution.

Welcome to: the Cosentino City showroom in Herzliya Pituach. The spacious space, spanning 600 square meters, was carefully designed for Cosentino, a family-owned company originating in Spain that manufactures and distributes innovative surfaces for the architecture and construction industries.

The space was designed using the company’s materials and a circular design that encourages free flow in the space and easy movement between the display elements and material samples. “I divided the space into four areas – an entrance space, a materials library, an auditorium and a kitchen, each of which is designed differently and covered with a different type of tile from the company’s catalog.” The display space is surrounded by windows, an advantage in terms of natural light, but a design challenge that required the design team to find a display solution in a space with almost no walls. Therefore, a central metal element was designed that was placed in the center of the space and on which Dekton tiles are displayed.

On the drawing board: “These days I am working on the next generation of display complexes. This is a luxury kitchen brand that wanted to allow buyers a planning, design and purchasing experience different from anything that exists today. First, I am faced with a design challenge of placing a very wide variety of different kitchens in one space while positioning a very luxurious standard for the brand. But beyond the luxury and functionality of the space, I really like innovation and the integration of technologies, which is why this project excites me especially – I can’t reveal too much at this stage, but I can guarantee an extraordinary surprise for visitors to the space.”
