Architect Raz Keshals, who deals with private construction alongside commercial and office planning, defines his style as “dream modern” – design born from the needs of the residents and inspired by them, in a modern and contemporary style.
In his projects, architectural planning, interior design and functional solutions are integrated into one harmonious language, centered on family life.
Raz designed this house in Mazkeret Batya for a family of six, on a 750-square-meter plot. “The house opens to the view and the architecture blurs the boundaries between the outside and the inside,” he explains. Local surrounding vegetation allows the house to integrate into the landscape architecture, which was designed by landscape architect Alik Avidan.
“The outdoor areas were designed as an inviting space for entertaining and everyday life, with a direct connection to the open landscape,” adds Raz. A central element in the yard is a 4×9.5 m pool, surrounded by shaded seating areas and a functional outdoor kitchen. The design of the house is based on a calm color palette based on stone, warm grays, wood and iron. Touches of color are used for emphasis alongside designed lighting fixtures and custom carpentry.
“The exterior design continues the language of the interior: we used stone in natural shades, shades of blue for the pool flooring, water lighting for emphasis, and natural lines that create a harmonious and complete experience.” The combination of materials, style, and precise details create a warm and luxurious atmosphere. At the edge of the pool, a white partition with a grooved pattern and a water element was placed, emphasizing the architectural language and the connection between the house and the outdoor spaces.
