Yehoshua Shashua, an architect and interior designer, founded the firm in 2016,Within its framework, it plans and designs diverse projects of various scales in Israel and around the world – from luxury villas and apartments, through residential buildings to commercial spaces such as showrooms and galleries.

Welcome to the house in Ein Vered that combines rural influences, such as a sloping roof, warm wood and industrial construction with a geometric character, which blend in with the rural character of the settlement and the surrounding area.

In planning the outdoor areas, he sought to create a maximum connection to nature. Accordingly, natural stone was chosen for the paving of the yard and the pool, around which vegetation was placed with a natural and harmonious appearance.

The yard includes an outdoor kitchen alongside a covered dining table in a pergola, which continues the roofline of the house, as well as low seating areas for rest and recreation. A central element is the 10×4 m pool, which was designed in accordance with the structure of the house and its location on the plot.

Its uniqueness lies in the fact that it is a hydraulic pool, with an adjustable floor height. The depth can reach up to two meters, but can also be aligned with the floor. “This allows you to expand the yard area and the dining area, and also improve safety. The pool can ‘disappear’ when not in use or when children are not supervised. In addition, its depth can be adjusted as needed, from a wading pool for children to a swimming pool for adults,” explains the architect. “As architects, we are committed to doing the best in every project,” he says, “but the greatest satisfaction comes when we succeed in creating a better life for people by designing their personal environment, at home or in the workplace, and giving them inspiration.” At their core, Yehoshua’s projects are modern and clean, but he is careful to combine styles and materials to create a rich architectural language.
