The project began with a simple request from a couple: to transform a long, narrow contractor’s apartment into a space that serves their daily lives but also allows for a sense of hospitality, freedom, and comfort of a boutique hotel.

They requested clear division, precise storage, a kitchen that functions as the center of the home, and a luxurious master suite, all within a 100 square meter framework and within a complex linear structure.

The project was born from a couple’s desire to transform a long, narrow contractor’s apartment into one that feels precise to their needs and creates a quality, relaxed living experience facing the sea. They requested smart division, organized storage, a public space that is comfortable for entertaining, and a luxurious master suite, all within 100 square meters and within a linear structure that poses clear challenges.

From these requirements, a program focused on usability was built, and a series of precise architectural decisions were made that completely changed the character of the apartment.

The design language of the house is already noticeable at the entrance. The walls are covered with green joinery in a classic Parisian style, which has become one of the elements identified with the apartment. The joinery hides the storage and creates an orderly and quiet feeling. Next to the joinery, a large bronze-colored mirror was integrated, which deepens the sense of space and introduces balanced softness. From there, the public space opens to the living room and kitchen, with the design striving to maintain a clear flow of movement without obstructions.

The entire public area is illuminated by natural light coming from the balconies and large windows. The living room is characterized by a light sofa with a soft volume, a richly textured carpet and marble side tables that introduce a luxurious yet restrained materiality. The black glass partitions that appear in the photos allow the spaces to be defined in a subtle way without compromising openness and light. They also reinforce the architectural expression of the apartment, which deals with continuity, lightness and transparency.

The kitchen is the heart of the home, and it was designed to serve both everyday life and moments of hospitality. The central island faces directly towards the sea and the living room, a choice that positions it as a natural meeting point. The natural marble surfaces with a lively pattern and movement combine with cabinets in a golden stainless steel shade, and together they create a warm and precise language. The drinks bar recessed into the back wall appears prominently in the photographs and demonstrates the boutique nature of the apartment. Illuminated shelves, and the use of materials such as brass and natural stone.

Illuminated shelves, hanging glassware, and a wine cooler combine to create a built-in entertaining area that feels like a natural part of the kitchen. The choice of brass linear lighting above the island reinforces the clean lines and sense of elegance.

The master suite continues the design trend of the apartment and presents an impressive use of green carpentry. The room is wrapped in three-dimensional panels that provide calm and orderly depth. The bright bed stands in the center of the space and in front of high linen curtains that soften the light and introduce a calm hotel feeling. A bright bench at the end of the bed and elements in dark wood tones balance the softness and create a complete composition.

The suite’s bathroom combines deep green marble with a stunning natural movement, alongside a black and white geometric pattern on the floor. Two round sinks and illuminated oval mirrors create a clean and precise look. The choice of brass faucets and lighting adds a warm layer that balances the dramatic materiality of the marble. The room’s photographs highlight the interplay between light, textures and volumes.

The materiality of the entire apartment is based on a connection between naturalness and luxury. Oak parquet in a diagonal pattern adds soft movement, high linen curtains create filtered light, and the combination of greens, golds, and natural marble creates a uniform and precise language.

Despite its limited size, the apartment manages to create a sense of space thanks to a design approach focused on openness, transparency, and light. The combination of Parisian inspiration and Mediterranean views creates a modern and intimate project that feels like one precise, balanced, and relaxed space.
